Susanna Friesen, late of the Tabor Home, Clearbrook, B.C. and formerly of Justice, Manitoba, and then Yarrow, B.C. passed away on Febuary 23. She was born in the Sagradowka settlement in southern Russia on February 15, 1888. At the age of 18 she received Christ as her personal Saviour and on July 5, 1911 she was baptized upon her confession of faith by Rev. Peter Bergen and received into the membership of the Mennonite Brethren Church. On October 12, 1912 she was married to Peter Friesen. Her husband predeceased her in 1958 and an infant daughter at the age of one year.

She is survived by two sons, Jacob and family of Calgary, and Peter and family of Yarrow; and a daughter, Susan (Mrs. Peter) Neufeld, Chilliwack; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. John Klassen, Herman Lenzmann and A. Friesen ministered at the funeral, held in the Yarrow Mennonite Brethren Church on February 28.
