JACOB DAVID WALL

Jacob D. Wall of Saskatoon passed away in the Saskatoon City Hospital on March 15. He was 41 . He was bom 'On May 30, 1929 to John and M ary W all of Great Deer, Saskatchewan (now of Saskato·on) . It was under the ministry of Rev. H.H. Epp in 1939 that he r·eceived Christ as his pers'onal Saviour. He· wa s ba'Ptized and joined the fellowship of th e Borden Mennonite Brethren Church on August 19. 1945. He took his elementary and high school education at Great Deer, then went to the Bethany Bible Institute at Hepburn and followed this with studies at th e Mennonite Brethren Bible Colleg'e in Winnipeg. To serve his Lord and redeemer was his greatest wish and in his job as an aocountant wi·th the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. where he worked for 15 years. and in his fell'Owship with 'Other believers. he was able to be a source of spiritual strength to others and a testimony. He served on the Bethany Bible Institute board for s'Ome years. was a member of the Christian Businessmen's Committee and was a member and deacon of the Nutana (Sas,katoon) Church. On June 14, 1958 he was unit'ed in marriage to Grace Nesdoly and togeth er they made their home in Saskatoon . Their home was bl·essed with three sons. one of whom died in infancy. Two survive their father, Marl'On Dean , born in 1967, and David Burton, born in 1969. Besides his two sons, he is survived by his wife, Grace; his parents , John and Mary Wall. of Saskatoon; two sisters. Mrs. Erma K'Oluk and Mrs. Selma Janz·en. of Saskatoon; six brothers, Marlyn of Seattle. Leslie 'Of Regina . Albert and Lewis of 'Borden , Clarenc·e and Corny of Saskatoon; and his parents-in-law, John and Elizabeth Nesdoly.
