ABRAM P. BERGMANN

Abram P. Bergmann of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away on January 10 at the age of 87 years. He was born in Ladekopp, South Russia, in 1,884. At the age of 23 he accepted the Lord 'as his Sa,viour and throughout his life remained a faithfulchild of God. 'In 1912 he was united in marriage to Tina Wiens, and t'ogether they shared almost 59 years, e~periencing much joy and many ·hardships. They emigrated to Ganada, in 1925 with seven young children. After settling near Steinba'ch, Man., he became one of the founders of the local MB Church there. tater the family moved to Ste. Anne, Man., where for many years he conducted services fora group of believers. In 1949 they retired to Steinbach and spent more happy years surrounded by children and grandchildren. He le'aves to mourn, his wife; four sons: Peter,Giroux, Man., Henry and Abe, Blumenort, Man., and George, Steinbach; five daughters: Mrs. J.A. (Sarah) Giesbrecht, Giroux, Mrs. J. Goertzen (,Elizabeth). Ste. Anne, Mrs. G. Froese (Annie). Winnipeg, and Mary and Helen, Steinbach; 30 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. P.J. Rempel, Winnipeg.
