ANNE HARDER

Anne Harder was born on January 24, 1930, at Oxbow, Sask. When she was six, her parents moved to Hepburn, Sa'sk., where she received aU her education, from grade one to twe'lve. Here she also received Christ as Savior and at the a-ge of s!ixteen was baptized and received into the Hepburn Mennoniite B'rethren Church. On August 23, 1952 she was joined ,in marri-age to Arley Irwin Harder and for 18 years they were able to la-bor Slide by s'ide. God blessed their union wi,th three sons, Kerth, Glenn and Brian. In the fa-II of 1960 they moved to l1hree HiI-Is, Alta., where Arley accepted a tea'ohing position. In that same summer it first became apparent that she was suffering from latent Hodgk'in's disease. Though ea-rly trea-tment seemed ,to arrest the disease, ,it -became active again two years ago and on August 31 she went to be with the Lord. She reached the age of 40 years. Among her family's most trea'sured memo-ries witll always be her steadfast and 'I'iving fa,it'h ,in her Savior and Lord. She is mourned by her husband, Arley; her l1hree s'ons; her parents, four sisters, six brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
