MRS. MARIE RATZLAFF

Marie Ratzlaff, Linden, Alta. passed away Ma,y 10 at the age of 75. She was born December 30, 1894 to Jacob and Helena Braun 3t Winkler, Manitoba. In 1903 the Broun family moved to Alberta where they tOlOk up farming in the DidsburySunnyslope area. On June 21, 1926,she was marr,ied to Samuel Ratzlaff of Sunnyslope. Seven children were born to them, the eldest of whom, wo,is Jean, predeceased her mother in 1929 at the age of two-and-one-hailf years.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel and six children: Mrs. Emerson (Verda) Sept of Thme Hills, Raymond of Edmonton, Marie of Linden, Mrs. Nick (Helen) Wiens of Linden, Mrs. Larry (Doris) King of Edontonand Mrs. Ervin (Susan) Harder of Linden. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, one brother, Isaac Brown of Linden, and one sist<er, Mrs. Sadie MiH'igen of Medicine Hat, Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death,
