HELEN BRAUN

(Mrs.) Helen Braun was born in Rus sia on November 15, 1901. She was saved and baptized at an early age and joined the MB church. In 1921 she was married to Mr. John Braun and they shared their joys and sorrows for 47 years. In 1925 they migrated to Canada and settled at Herbert, Sask. They moved to Main Centre in 1928, and later to Swift Current. Mrs. Braun went to be with her Lord on April 2 after a lengthy illness, at the age of 66 years. She was predeceased by her father in 1950 and an infant son, Henry, in 1929. She is survived by her husband John Braun; seven sons and their families, John and Lydia Braun, Peter and Leona Braun of Main Centre, Arnold and Hulda Braun, Jake and Frieda Braun, William and Darlene Braun of Swift Current, Otto and Lor raine Braun of Edmonton, Hildor and Shirley Braun of Kyle; three daughters, Henriette Redekopp of Main Centre, Kate and Jacob Buechert of Drake Sophie and George Carleton of Caron port; 25 grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Peter Friesen of Brazil; four sis ters and four brothers. The funeral ser- 20 vices were held in the Swift Current Church on April 15, with Rev. 1. Bergen officiating.
