MRS. ANNA SCHELLENBERG

Anna Schellenberg (nee Wiebe), 6 went to be with the Lord on Februar 25. She was the wife of David J. Sche lenberg of Winkler. She was born i South Russia on February 17, 1901 an as a teenage girl lost her mother. few years later her father also passe away so that at 19 years !!he was le to take care of a family of five younge brothers and sisters. In 1921 she married David J. Sche lenberg and in 1923 they emigrated t Canada, settling in Winkler. As muc as she was able she continued to shar her home with her brothers and sister until they too could establish their ow homes. The Lord spoke to her throug a great revival in the village of Gnaden feld, Manitoba, in 1928 and in 1929 sh herself found peace with God. A few years later she openly confessed he faith and was baptized and received int the Win k I e r Mennonite Brethre Church. She found great satisfaction i the fellowship and worked actively wit the Ladies Missionary Circle. During 46 years of married life, Go blessed their family with seven chi dren, one of whom, an infant son, pre decea!!ed their mother.
