FRANZ F. HUBERT

Franz F. Hubert passed away on Jan.1st, 1934 at the age of 88 years. He was born in the Ukraine, where he grew up-and joined the Mennonite Church. He was married twice and became the father of 13 children. He was predeceased by both his first and second wife and also by 5 children.

In 1907 the family moved to Siberia where they prospered. After the revolution they left Russia and came to Canada. They lived at Duchess for a year, later moving to Coaldale where the family has resided since. On Dec. 26th Mr. Hubert suffered a heart attack and was taken to the Coaldale Hospital where he passed away a few days later. He died in the firm faith that "The Lord is my shepherd." He leaves to mourn one older brother Jakob, in Brazil, 4 sons, all of Coaldale, 4 daughters, 27 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
