LOCAL

Mrs. C. E. Krehbiel, accompanied by her brother John Wirkler of Oberlin, Ohio, left Newton last week for Los Angeles, Calif., to be at the bedside of their aged father, Christian Wirkler, who was seriously ill. Saturday morning Rev. C. E. Krehbiel received the message that Mr. Wirkler had passed away; he had, however yet been conscious when his children arrived. Mr. Wirkler reached the unusual age of 92 years. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles Monday. The deceased is survived by his wife and three children, John Wirkler, Mrs. C. E. Krehbiel, and Elizabeth Wirkler of Los Angeles. The Review extends its heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.
