text of obituary:
THEODORE S. ENNS
Theodore S. Enns was born in Marion county, Kansas, on September 25, 1901. He passed away suddenly from his faithful and busy earthly life to his eternal reward at 10 o'clock Thursday evening, May 17, 1945, at the Herrington hospital at Pryor, Oklahoma. He reached the age of 43 years, 7 months and 23 days.
Noting that he was not realizing how seriously he was injured in a recent car accident, his wife told him that he could not live. He then asked her to pray with him, after which he said it was God's will, he was ready to go.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham J. Enns, who preceded him in death. His father passed on in January 1938, and his mother June, 1939.
In 1912 he came with his parents to Inola, Okla. Here they took part in organizing the Eden Mennonite church. Being the oldest child in the family, had to help share the hardships of pioneer life.
At the age of 17 years, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior upon his confession of faith and was baptised by Elder Abraham Ratzlaff, on July 6, 1919, thus becoming a member of the Eden Mennonite church of Inola. He remained a faithful member until the end. He took part in the Lord's work and served in whatever duties he was called to do.
