Memorial Services Held By Church for Missionary.

Hillsboro, Kans., Jan 24. — Memorial services for Tena Kornelson were held in the M. B. church Sunday morning. Miss Kornelsen had returned from the mission field about five years ago, and after several years at home, in hospital training and in school, returned to China last spring.

Located at the Bethel Mission she studied the Chinese language and was getting well established in her work when she contracted malaria fever. She, however, recovered according to a recent letter. Then on January 2 a cablegram bearing the two words, "Tena deceased," arrived from her station. Four more letters written by her were received after that date. The last one she was not able to complete, but dictated the closing sentences to her nurse. — From Hillsboro Star.
