Farm Accident Brings Death to Peter W. Siebert

Boyd, Okla., April 21, 1934. — At this time I must write about a very sad accident that happened at Coldwater, Texas, last week. Last Tuesay night J. P. Karbers received word that their son-in-law Peter W. Seibert was accidentally killed there. They immediately left for Coldwater and there they found that as Mr. Siebert had helped his uncle P. J. Penner grind feed with a Hammermill feed grinder one hammer bar had come loose, hitting and lacerating his chest so that he was killed instantly. Since both of Mr. Siebert's parents were buried in the M. B. cemetery near Hooker, the funeral was held in the M. B. church there. Rev. A. S. Schellenbeg from Coldwater, Tex., gave a very sympathetic sermon in the German language and Rev. P. D. Kiehn in the English language. The remains were laid to rest in the nearby marks by A. A. Wiens, Hooker. (The Review extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. — M. D.) — F. F. Just.
