MARGARET BOLDT

(Mrs.) Margaret Boldt of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away on August 11. She was born to Wilhelm and Katherina (Braun) giesbrecht on on June 23, 1893 in Neuhimse, Brasel, Ekaterinoslav, in southern Russia. At age 23 she gave her heart to the Lord. She married Bernhard Boldt, who had also just found the Lord, on February 29, 1916 in Suworovska. On April 11, 1916 she was baptized into the Men- nonite Brethren Church of Suworovska. After the Revolution, a typhoid epidemic claimed two of her children, Katie and Bernhard. In 1924 her family immigrated to Manitoba, where her husband taught; they moved to Kitchener, Onto in 1934, to Chilliwack, B.C. in 1944 and finally to Van- couver. Later the family moved back to Manitoba and then to Yarrow, B.C., where her husband died at age 67. She spent her last years in Vancouver and Abbotsford. Her eldest son John predeceased her by four months, in an accident in Brazil.
