JOHN P. REMPEL

John P. Rempel died June 7. He was born June 2, 1927 to Peter and Anna Rempel. John lived in the Great Dear/Borden, Sask. area for 77 years, attend- ing Borden MB Church and Hoffnungsfeld School. He committed his life to Christ, attended Bethany Bible School, and later married Anne Peters in 1952 . Together they farmed near Borden and he was involved in various community activities, including the Sask. Wheat Pool Committee, Thresher men's club, church board, Sunday school, the Great Deer Quartet, and Open Doors ministry. John loved the people around him and was a caring husband and father. In 2004, John and Anne moved to Saskatoon, where they attended West Portal Church. Predeceased by son Phil, he is mourned by Anne; children Dennis (Lori), Dale (Beverly), and Faye; 1 grandson; 3 brothers; 5 sisters. The memorial service was June 11 at West Portal Church.
