MARILYN FRASER

, Marilyn Fraser died Apr. 27. She was born May 22, 1956 to Jake and Lydia Heinrichs in Port Rowan, Ont. She accepted Christ at a young age at a Barry Moore Crusade. She was baptized, joining Port Rowan (Ont.) MB L.....I'--....J Church. At age 12 she developed diabetes. She attended Winkler Bible School for one year, then married Doug Fraser July 19, 1975. She taught ceramics and made gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed playing with her children as well as winter vacations in Florida. She helped serve customers at Doug's gas station, then worked at a paint and decorating store. In August 1999 she fell from a ladder, severing her spinal cord, which left her paralyzed from the waist down. With home renova- tions and rehabilitation she was able to live independently. She wrote poetry, read, made cards, cooked, baked and painted. She taught Sunday school, girts club and sang in the choir. Her strong faith carried her through many trying situations. She died in a house fire. She is mourned by daughters Shannon and Bonnie; parents Jake and Lydia Heinrichs; 3 sisters; 3 brothers. The funeral was Apr. 30 in Port Rowan MB Church with Bill Wiebe ministering.
