AGANETHA (AGNES) DYCK

Agnes Dy ck died Dec. 11 . She was born Ma rch 1, 1902 in Kydaschewka, South Ukraine to Jacob and Helena Kroeker. She accepted Christ as Sav- iour at 17, after special se rmons by Bible school students, and was bap- tized. On April 20, 1924, she married David Dyck. They immigrated to Canada in 1929, settling on a farm in Grassy Lake, Al ta. In 1953 they ret ired to Coaldale, Alta . David died in 1973 . She moved into Sunny South Lodge in 1987 and later into the Coaldale Health Care Centre. She was a lov- ing, caring, and praying mother. She is survived by sons David of Linden, Alta., Walter of Win- ni peg, Rudy of Saskatoon; daughters Helen Peters of Campbell River, B.C., Martha Janzen of Pincher Creek, Alta ., Ag nes Bartel of Coal- dale; 27 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchil- dren; 1 brother.
