ELIZABETH ENNS

Elizabeth Enns was born June 9, 1922 in Odessa, Ukraine to Peter H. and Helen Fast. The family immigrated to Main Centre, Sask . when Elizabeth was 4. The family moved to Yarrow, B.C. when she was 15. She accepted God's gift of love and was baptized. At 16 she went to work as a maid and nanny in Van- couver. She attended Yarrow Bible School for 1 winter. She married john H. Enns of Yarrow Dec. 6, 1942. He was a C.O . on Vancouver Is- land. She worked at the Lourdes Hospital in Campbell River, B.C. They moved to Vancou- ver and later to Sumas Prairie, B.C. John worked in Vancouver and Elizabeth looked af- ter the farm. In 1953 they moved to a farm in Abbotsford. In retirement they travelled and wintered in the south. She invested her life in family and was proud of her children and grandchildren. She is mourned by john; daughters Grace, Luella, Florence and Betsy; sons Edwin and James.
