PETER HENRY WALDE

Peter Henry Walde died Dec . 19. He was born Nov. ", 191 6 in Ukraine. He immigrat- ed to Rosthern, Sask . in 1926 and later moved to Rosemary, Alta. He farmed here until 1946. He married Tena Harder Oct. 29, 1938. They moved to Chilliwack, B.C in 1946. He was a poultry farmer and served as director and president of East Chilliwack Co-op. He enjoyed travel- ling and gardening, sharing his produce with friends. He was a charter member of Broad- way MB Church and was an encouragement to all. He loved his family. Predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 great-grandchild, he is mourned by Tena, daughter Doris Wiebe; son Rudy; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grand- children; 2 brothers; 3 sisters . The funeral was Dec. 23 in Broadway MB Church.
