MARION BRIGDEN_ENGEL

Marion Brigden-Engel died Dec. 17. She was born Oct. 3, 191 7 in Silton, Sask., to Norman and Margaret Davis . She attended Normal School in Regina and taught at various schools in Sask. She married Bill Brigden Oct. 10, 1942. They lived on the family farm in Kis- bey, Sask. After Bill's death she returned to teaching. She was a member of Eastern Star and active in Rebekah's Lodge. She moved to Medicine Hat, Alta. and married Ted Engel Sept . 17, 1994. They attended Crestwood MB Church and st. Barnabas Anglican Church to- gether. She was friendly, optimistic and opened her life to others. Predeceased by Bill and 1 grandson, she is mourned by Ted; daughters Lois Beatty, Lynda Haug; sons Allen and Ross; 9 grandchildren; stepdaughter Vel- ma Heebner; stepsons Wayne and Ron Engel; 8 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchil- dren; 1 brother. The funeral was Dec. 22 in Kisbey Recreation Centre.
