KATIE JANZEN

Kati e Jan ze n passed away Dec. 9 after a se- ries of strokes. Sh e w as born in Friedensfeld, Russia May 31, 1919. She immigrat ed to Canada with her fami- ly in 1923. They lived in Swalwell, Alta . mov- ing to Dundam in 1924, to Hepburn, Sask. in 1936 and to Abbotsford, B.C. in 1947. Kati e lived with her parents. Sh e ac- cept ed the Lord at age 14 and was baptized in th e Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon. She wa s a member of Clearbrook MB Church. Sh e played piano for choir practices and Bible studies. Her health wa s not good, but she prayed for those who were sick. The fu- neral was at Woodlawn Funeral Home Ab- botsford, Dec. 16 with Heinz Ratzlaff an'd Art Isaac ministering.
