• Funeral services for Mrs. Bena Goertz, 80, widow of Peter J. Goertz, were held Dec. 28 at the First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro, with Rev. Arnold Funk officiating. She died at Hillsboro on Dec. 24. Mrs Edward W. Bartel and Mrs. J. W. Goertz of Newton are among eight surviving sisters.
