She was a hostess and later a server at Rainbow Country Inn. She loved working at the Coffee Mill, where she made a lot of friends. She was found to have lung cancer, bowel cancer, then cancer in the other lung. However, she continued working and enjoying life. During her last year-and-a-half, she was unable to work, but would sit in AI's golf shop and talk to people so he could golf. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
