Electrician Dies of Injuries Suffered in Fall from Truck
Virginia Beach, Va. — Funeral services were held at the Kempsville Amish Mennonite Church here for William Overholt, Jr. 31-year-old electrician who died of injuries suffered in a fall while at work.
He was on top of a van-type truck, hanging lights in a warehouse, and when the truck driver was asked to move to the next light, his foot slipped from the clutch pedal. Mr. Overholt fell down on the stepladder he was holding, causing a skull fracture and internal injuries. He died 25 hours later, on June 25, without regaining consciousness.
He was a member of the Fox Street Mennonite Church, Bronx, N. Y., and the past two years had resided here with his parents, William and Millie (Jones) Overholt.
