MRS. KATHERINE BAERG

(Mrs.) Katherine Baerg of Saskatoon went to be with the Lord on July 24. She was born to Peter and Mary Lepp on june 25, 1903 near Langham, Sask. She received her educa tion at Tabor College, Kansas, and the University of Saskatchewan. She taught in the Pembroke School District, Sask., for five years. She was married to J.E.L. Baerg on Jan. 3, 1936. They lived in Mennon, Sask. for 16 years before moving to Saskatoon. As a member of the Central Mennonite Brethren Church, Mrs. Baerg was active in Sunday school teaching, Ladies Missionary Society and the Western Tract Mission. Her family will remember her for her transparent honesty and her unfailing devo tion to Christ. She leaves to mourn her loving husband; daughter Esther (Mrs. Klaass Teb bins) of Sarnia, Ont.; two sons, Paul and wife Julie of Regina and Solomon and wife Twila of Saskatoon; eleven grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and many relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Central Church, July 27, with Waldo Pauls and Rueben Baerg officiating.
