LEONARD WILLMS

Leonard Willms, the son of Jake and Susi Willms of Chilliwack, B.C., died suddenly a a result of an accident while on a trip to For St. John, B.C. on August 25. He was born on July 26, 1956 and lived all of his life unti r~cently at Chilliwack . He was attending Sunon Fraser University at the time of hi death. He was a good student and excelled in sports and music and received much recogni ion in both. He had performed at many recitals and served as church and choir pianist at the East Chilliwack Menno nite Brethren Church. At an early age he gave his life o Jesus with the help of his mother. His spiritual life was helped through he boys brigade at he East Chilliwack and Broadway . (Chilliwack) Mennonite Brethren churches In recent years he experienced many struggles n his spiritual life, though he also expressed o his parents and friends his awareness o his need and his desire for a closer walk with God not long before his death. They can accept his death and its unanswered questions with a faith firmly anchored in the Lord. Leonard is survived and lovingly remem bered by his parents, one sister, Sylvia, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J .C. Willms and Mr. and Mrs. G.G . Delesky.
