Lynda Rose Peters

Lynda Rose Peters of Beechy, Sask. passed away Feb. 28. She was born Mar. 19, 1944 in Windsor, Ont., where she received her education. She worked in Detroit, MI and London, Ont. before moving to Swift Current, Sask., where she worked for a bank. In 1967 she married Ron Peters. They lived on a farm at Beechy. She worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia and was involved with various community groups. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She is remembered for her strong faith in the Lord, courage and unselfish attitude during her long and painful struggle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother Rose in 1958 and father Fred in 1974, she is survived hy her husband; son Chad and daughter Wendy of Beechy; 2 brothers and 1 sister. The funeral was Mar. 3 in Hillside Christian Fellowship Church, Beechy, with Mike Housek ministering.
