RUDY WIEBE

Rudy Wiebe was born to Jacob and Maria Wiebe on May 12, 1933 in Watrous , Sask. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on September 10 after about 10 months of suffering from cancer. He was baptized upon his confession of faith in Jesus Christ in 1951 in Bethany Mennonite Church at Watrous. He and Justina Pankratz were married on July 17, 1954, and the couple was blessed with two sons and two daughters. The Wiebes moved to Moose Jaw in 1957, where Rudy was a faithful employee of Crown Mart until his death. He loved his Lord much and served willingly in the church. He was a deacon at the Regal Heights Mennonite Brethren Church in Moose Jaw. Rudy was predeceased by a son, Gordon, in 1959. A funeral service was held on September 14 in the Parkview Funeral Chapel. He is mourned by his beloved wife, Justina; a son, Bryan; two daughters, Lorraine and Marilyn; his mother, (Mrs .) Maria Wiebe; four brothers, Jake, John, George and Peter; four sisters, (Mrs.) Maria Nussbaum, (Mrs .) Tina Siemens, (Mrs.) Helena Smith, and (Mrs.) Anne Schellenberg; plus many relatives and friends.
