Hulda Thiessen, 84, a missionary nurse, died April 2 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church with pastors Nick Rempel and Bruce Porter officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexanderwohl Cemetery in rural Goessel. Visitation was from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Buhler Mortuary 120 N. Main St., Buhler.

She was born Jan. 13, 1925, to Frank W. and Mary Flaming Banman in Marion County. On June 13, 1987, she was married to Henry F. Thiessen at Buhler, who predeceased her.

Survivors include stepsons Leroy and Lorene Thiessen and Robert and Frances Thiessen, all of Buhler; brother Marvin and Elma Banman of Goessel; brother-in-laws Rudy Voth of Goessel and Albert and Alice Schmidt of Hesston; five step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
