• Funeral services were conducted Jan. 8 at the Pretty Prairie Mennonite Church by Rev. Ben Rahn for Mrs. J. R. Krehbiel, 83, who died Sunday, Jan. 6. A South Dakota native, she had lived in the Pretty Prairie community since her marriage to Mr. Krehbiel in 1896. He died in 1951. A large family group, including a number of grandchildren, survive.
