● Carl F. Haury, Sr., 93, died May 11 at Halstead Hospital. Services were held May 14 at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead with Rev. Robert D. Suderman in charge. Survivors include a son, Carl Jr. of Halstead; three sisters, Laura and Irma of Halstead and Mrs. Ella Langenwalter, Hesston; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A retired farmer, he was married to Clara Bonze who died in 1975.

Carl F. Haury, Sr.

Carl F. Haury, Sr., 93, died Wednesday, May 11, at the Halstead Hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1883, at Halstead, he married Clara Bonze Nov. 26, 1914, at Halstead. She died Feb. 24, 1975. He was a retired farmer and a lifetime resident.

He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

Survivors include one son, Carl F. Jr., Halstead; three sisters, Laura and Irma, both of Halstead; and Mrs. Ella Langenwalter, Hesston; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday morning, May 14, at the church, with the Rev. Robert D. Suderman. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Harvey County Cancer Society in care of the Kaufman Funeral Home.
