(MRS.) JUSTINA REDEKOPP

Justina Redekopp was born in Russia to John and Karoline Sapinsky on March 20. 1900. When she was eight years old. the family immigrated to Canada, settling near Kelstern. Sask. On September 23. 1917. she married Abram Redekopp.

Together they accepted the Lord as their Saviour and were baptized and accepted into the Elim Mennonite Brethren Church in 1918. They farmed in the Queen Centre district for some 36 years.

In March. 1953 her husband went to be with the Lord. In the fall of 1954 she moved to Herbert. Sask. where she lived until her death. Last spring she went to live in the Herbert Nursing Home. where she enjoyed many hours of fellowship and the care of the staff.

On February 3. at age 74. she quietly passed away into the presence of the Lord. She was predeceased by her husband and four sons. five grandchildren and two sisters. She leaves to mourn: four daughters. Esther (Mrs. A.) Watson of Medicine Hat, Alta .• Martha (Mrs. J.) Klassen of Moose Jaw. Sask .• Hertha (Mrs. D.) Meyer and Ruth (Mrs. F.) Klassen of Calgary; six sons. Arthur and Harry of Ottawa. Lawrence of Lanigan. Sask. Gilbert of Winnipeg. Victor of Camrose. Alta .• and Ray of Calgary; 33 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters. (Mrs.) Elizabeth Neufeld and (Mrs.) Mary Redekopp; two brothers . Jacob of Herbert. Sask. and John of Kelowna. B.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
