FORMER RESIDENT OF INDIANA CALLED BY DEATH AT HUTCHINSON

Hutchinson, Kansas. — William H. Schrock, 75, long-time resident of the Hutchinson community, died at Grace Hospital here July 8 after suffering a heart attack the evening before. He had not been well but had attended church services on July 5.

Funeral services were held July 10 at the Yoder Mennonite Church, Sanford A. King and Harry A. Diener officiating.

Mr. Schock [sic Schrock] was a native and former resident of the Shipshewana, Ind. community.

59-Year Resident Dies at Hutchinson

Hutchinson, Kan. — William H. Schrock, retired Mennonite farmer and resident of this area for 59 years, died July 15 at Grace hospital. He was 75.

He was born Sept. 7, 1883, at Shipshewana, Ind. and was living at 220 West 6th, South Hutchinson, at the time of his death.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m.,July 17, in the Yoder Mennonite Church, with Rev. Sanford King and Rev. H. H. Diener officiating. Burial was in the Yoder church cemetery.

Survivors are the widow, Celestia; three daughters, Mrs. Ted Thurlby, Snyder, Okla., Mrs. Si Bontrager, Mrs. L. R. Bontrager; one son, Lloyd; two sister [sic], Mrs. J. M. Yutzy and Mrs. J. S. Troyer, all of Hutchinson; three brothers, Ed, Haven, Ervin, Conshohocken, Pa., T. R., Clarksville Mich.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
