CALLED BY DEATH AT HUTCHINSON
Hutchinson, Kan. — Mrs. Lovina Miller, wife at Alf. B. Miller of South Hutchinson, died at Grace Hospital here Sept. 27 at the age of 71. A native of McPherson County, she had lived here 27 years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pershing Street Mennonite Church, Rev. Sanford King and Rev. H. A. Diener officiating.

MRS. LOVINA MILLER
Mrs. Lovina (Yoder) Miller, daughter of John D. and Amanda Yoder, was born April 26, 1887, near Inman, Kan., died Sept. 27, 1958, at Grace Hospital, Hutchinson, Kan. age 71 years, five months and one day.
Her parents moved to Jet, Okla. a few years after the opening of the Cherokee Strip, where she grew to womanhood. She gave her heart to the Lord in her youth and remained a faithful member of the Mennonite church until the Lord called her home.
On June 5,1906, she was married to Alf. B. Miller. To this union were born seven children. One daughter, Ruby Florence, preceded her in death at the age of four and one-half months.
The six surviving children are Richard of Albuquerque, N. M., David of Goshen, Ind., Laurence [sic Lawrence] of Hutchison [sic Hutchinson], Kan., Alfred of Bermuda Island, Bernice, Mrs. Emery Bontrager of Scott City, Kan. and Louise, Mrs. Ivan Headings of Lebanon, Ore. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
All the children except Alfred were present for the funeral, which was held Sept. 30 at the Pershing Street Mennonite Church in Hutchinson, where she and her family have labored since the beginning of the Hutchinson Mennonite Mission in 1931.
The funeral services were conducted by Bro. S. E. King and Bishop Harry A. Diener, Bro. Diener speaking from Psalm 121 and Bro. King from John 14, Scriptures that were very precious to Sister Miller.
She was a faithful wife and mother, greatly concerned for the spiritual welfare of her family, and loved by all her friends and neighbors.
Burial was made in Yoder Mennonite Cemetery.
