Aged Topeka, Ind. Resident Died

Topeka, Ind. — Funeral services for Melvin D. Lantz, long-time resident here, were held Sept.11 at the Topeka Mennonite Church, Rev. Roy Henry officiating. Mr. Lantz died Sept. 9 at a Goshen nursing home at the age of 90.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of St. Louis, Mo. and Clifford of Goshen; five daughters, Mrs. Cletus Hooley of Topeka, Mrs. E. J. Bohn of Pandora, Ohio, Mrs. J. N. Smucker and Mrs. Thomas Watkins of Goshen, and Mrs. Mervin Hostetler of Smithville, Ohio; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

— Mrs. Carlyle Groves and Miss Eleanor Bohn received word of the deaths of their aged grandfathers, who died within a few days of each other at Goshen, Ind. Melvin D. Lantz, father of Mrs. E. J. Bohn of Pandora, Ohio, died Sept. 9 at the age of 90. Henry Bohn, father of Rev. E. J. Bohn and a native of Germany, died Sept. 13 at the age of 91. Both funeral services were held at the Topeka, Ind. Mennonite Church.
