• Funeral services for Miss Elsa Haury, 78, retired music professor, were held Saturday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Rev. Russell Mast conducted the graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery here. Miss Haury died in a Wichita hospital Oct. 11. She lived in Newton as a young woman, graduated from Salem College in Winston-Salem, N. C., studied voice in Germany in 1913 and 1914, and later taught voice in North Carolina colleges and Bethel College. Since 1934 she had been professor of voice at Friends University in Wichita, retiring in 1966. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Sue Haury of Wichita and Mrs. Helen Boynton of Rochester, N. Y.
