After a long illness John J. Lehman passed into the beyond on Thursday, Oct. 19. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon. Rev. Albert Steiner of North Lima, a cousin, preached a fitting sermon on “Man Is As A Leaf.” Relatives from a distance attending the funeral are David Steiner, North Lima; Otto Lehman and family and Miss Ruth, Wooster; Mrs. Henry Potts, Massillon; Raymond Steiner, Sterling; his father, Enos Steiner, Peter Geiger, Chr. Hofstetter, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Augsburger, of Bluffton; Albert Zuercher, two sons and a daughter, of Berne, Ind.; Mrs. Noah L. Sprunger, and son Presston of Wadsworth, and many from surrounding towns.
