— Funeral services were held at the Pennsylvania Mennonite church Sunday for Ruth Elaine Rodgers, age two years and 10 months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Roders [sic Rodgers] of Hesston. She passed away Aug. 30. She is survived by her parents, a twin brother Robert, a sister Florence, 5; her grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. O. O. Hershberger and Mrs. Lena Rodgers; and great grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Brenneman.

RUTH ELAINE RODGERS

Ruth Elaine Rodgers was born on October 27, 1948. She died on August 30, 1951, at the age of two years, 10 months and three days.

She was the daughter of Lloyd and Pearl Rodgers, who reside on their farm near Hesston, Kansas. Throughout her life, except for the first four months, she was not well.

Besides her parents, she is survived by an older sister, Florence Eileen, and her twin brother, Robert Duane; also by her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lena Rodgers; and her paternal grandparents, Owen and Clara Hershberger.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2:00 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Mennonite church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The services were in charge of Earl Buckwalter, assisted by Fred Brenneman.
