HENRY P. WIEBE
Henry P. Wiebe was born February 27, 1892, in Gage county, Nebraska. His parents were Henry J. Wiebe and Mar yWiebe [sic Mary Wiebe] nee Wiebe. He received his early educaion[sic] in district school and from Rev. JJ. K. Penner [sic J. K. Penner].
In May, 1910, he was baptized upon confession of his faith in Jesus Christ by Elder Gerhard Penner.
In later years he was engaged in farming and in March 1948 he moved to Beatrice with his brother Alfred. He lived in this home only about two weeks when he became ill and was taken to the hospital.
All the loving care he received from the hands of loved ones, nurses and doctors was not sufficient to bring him back to health. On June 4, 1948, God in His wisdom called him to his eternal home. Henry was always glad to hear God's Word read to him and it was his wish that he might soon be with his Savior.
He leaves to mourn his passing five brothers, two sisters, two sisters-in-law, one nephew, three nieces, and many relatives and friends.
"For we know that, if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." II Corinthians 5:1.
