— Mr. and Mrs. Alfred C. Suderman living east of town received word last Friday morNing that Mrs. Suderman's father, H. H. Weibe, had died that morning in his home at Madrid, Nebr. Mr. Wiebe spent a good part of his life in the teaching profession, serving in that capacity for 25 years. Later he also farmed in the Mennonite community at Madrid. Funeral services took place at the church there Wednesday, Oct. 11. He is survived by his wife and the following four sons and five daughters: John, Roland, and Alvin, all living in Texas; Robert, who is in government service; Mrs. Rose Duerksen and Mrs. Alma Friesen at Madrid; Mrs. Mildred Pankratz, Reedley, Calif.; Mrs. Alfred C. Suderman, Newton, and Mrs. Loewen of Sterling, Colo.
