Relatives here have received word that Mrs. C. Enns, a pioneer resident of the Inman, Kansas, community, died at her home there last Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, December 30, at two o'clock in the Inman Mennonite church. Rev. J. E. Kaufman, pastor of the church, will be in charge. He will be assisted by Rev. John D. Epp of Lincoln, Nebr., a former pastor of the congregation.
Mrs. Enns was the mother of Dr. J. H. Enns of Newton, who was at her bedside at the time of her death. She reached the advanced age of almost 94 years, and her death came after an illness of only about one week. She is survived by the following seven sons: C. M. Enns, Los Angeles, Calif.; Henry Enns, Chicago, Ill.; Dick and John Enns, Inman; Dr. J. H. Enns, Newton; and Paul and Nick Enns, Fort Peirce, Florida.
Mrs. Enns was born in South Russia. She came to America with her husband and six sons in the early seventies, and they established their home near Inman. in alter years her husband entered the milling business in Inman, which his sons John and Dick after his death built out into a successful enterprise. Their mother continued to live there in her home close to her children. The aged mother was very frequently visited by her children and generally took interest in their affairs. She was respected by all who came in contact her.

Mrs. Cornelius Enns died at 8:30 A. M. on Monday, December 28, 1936 at her home in Inman, Kansas after an illness of eight days.
She was born as Elisabeth Martens, daughter of Abraham and Aganeta Martens, in the village of Landskrone in South Russia, now known as the Soviet Republic of Ukraine, on February 22, 1843, and thus attained the age of 93 years, 10 months, 6 days.
