Mrs. P. J. Schmidt

Mrs. P. J. Schmidt of 500 South East Third, passed away Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at Bethel hospital, after a long illness, and for may years an invalid.

Mrs. Schmidt was born Sept. 22, 1868, and was therefore 62 years, seven months and 17 days of age at the time of her death. She suffered from rheumatism for 34 years, and for the past four years was confined to a wheel chair.

She was the mother of eight children, six dauhters [sic] and two sons. One daughter and one son died in infancy. The other children and the husband and father survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday. A short service will be held at the home on South East third, at 1:00 o'clock, and at 3:00 o'clock services will be held in the Tabor church near Goessel, and interment will be made in the Tabor church cemetery.
