ADOLPH PLETSCHER

Adolph, son of Michael and Brbara Eyman Pletscher, was born in the parental home two and a hlaf miles south of Trenton, Ill. on Sept 1, 1881. Here he grew to manhood. he attended the public school in his neighborhood and also the German school of the Summerfield Mennonite Church.

He was united in marriage with Anna H. Villhard by Rev. J. B. Baer on Sept. 10, 1914, at the home of her parents in Summerfield. They started housekeeping and homemaking on a farm a quarter mile west of Summerfield. Here they lived for 15 years and then moved to Trenton, where they lived for 22 years and engaged in the poultry business. In 1951 they moved back to Summerfield into their newly purchased house and have lived there since.
