• Funeral services for Mrs. Fanny Wedel, 84, widow of John J. Wedel, were held Monday forenoon at the Hopefield Church near Moundridge. Mrs. Wedel died Friday night at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. Her large family of survivors includes one great-great-grandchild. Rev. H. B. Schmidt officiated at the funeral.
