• Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph Ediger, 60, of Newton were held Jan. 13 at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel in charge. Mrs. Ediger died Jan. 11 at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. She was the former Violet Scott, and her marriage to Mr. Ediger took place here in 1961. Surviving are her husband of the home in Newton; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Scott of Halstead; three brothers, John Scott Jr. of Haven, Bill Scott of Emporia, and Jack Scott of Ortonville, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Coleman of Los Angeles, Mrs. Hiram Ward and Mrs. Herman Hughes, both of Halstead.
