Retired School Teacher Dies at Bluffton, O.

Bluffton, Ohio,. — Funeral services were held June 14 at the First Mennonite Church here for Mrs. Zilla R. Amstutz, a resident of Bluffton for many years and a former school teacher. Mrs. Amstutz died June 10 at the Bluffton Community Hospital.

Born in Berne, Ind. on Feb. 21, 1890, she was a daughter of David and Anna (Wulliman) Soldner. She was married to Edwin Amstutz Sept. 25, 1921, and he died Jan. 11, 1949.

Surviving a daughter, Mrs. Nickolas (Harriet) Dick, Scarboro, Ontario; a son, Robert F., Avon, Conn.; three grandsons; sisters, Mrs. Edwin Lehman and Mrs. David Neuenschwander, Berne, Ind., and Miss Dora M. Soldner, Briarcliff Manor, N. Y.; one brother, Clinton, Berne.

Mrs. Amstutz was a former school teacher in the rural districts near Bluffton. She was a member of First Mennonite Church for 40 years, was a member of the missionary society, taught a women's Bible class, was a member of the church board and a deaconess of the church.
