RALPH DAVID MILLER

Ralph David Miller, son of Obed J. and Ella Miller, was born near Hubbard, Oregon, January 17, 1910, and died suddenly of a heart attack at Nampa, Idaho, August 18, 1952, aged 42 years, seven months, one day.

He accepted Christ in early youth, became a member of the Mennonite church and continued in Christian service until the time of his death.

He spent most of his life in Idaho, graduating from the Nampa public high school. He attended Northwest Nazarene college two years, completing his medical training in the Oregon State medical school, and had been employed as medical technologist at Samaritan hospital since 1947. He was married to Lovina Yoder on June 11, 1933, at Portland, Oregon.

Ralph was loved by old and young alike, was interested in children and young people, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to the underprivileged and unfortunate.

Survivors are his wife, Lovina Miller; one son; Maurice David of Nampa; two daughters, Julia Salome (Mrs. Don Curtis) of Hubbard, Oregon, and Eleanor Oreta of Nampa; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Obed J. Miller of Canby, Oregon; four brothers, Omar Miller of Canby, Oregon, Paul and Nathan Miller, both of Hammett, Idaho, and Harold Miller of Nampa.

Services were conducted by Ministers D. A. Good and Robert E. Garber. Burial was in Koherlawn cemetery at Nampa.
