• Funeral services for Myrle D. Jost, 27, of Topeka were conducted Thursday afternoon, Feb. 7, at the First Mennonite Church. Rev. Larry Martens, pastor of the Koerner Heights M. B. Church, officiated. Mr. Jost died Feb. 4 in Topeka after a long illness, having recently undergone a leg amputation. A native of Hillsboro, he was a graduate of Berean Academy at Elbing and Emporia State Teachers College. He was employed as a salesman by a Topeka realtor, and was a member of the Topeka Bible Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Aleda Amstutz of Whitewater; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben L. Jost of Newton; a grandfather, G. D. Ensz of Inman; two sisters, Mrs. Julie Thiessen of Warsaw, Ind. and Mrs. Lena Moses of Kansas City, Mo.
