DAVID E. PLETT

Funeral services for David E. Plett were held march 27, 1989, at Westport Mennonite Brethren Church, Collinsville, Okla., with Mike Frantz officiating. He died March 23, 1989, in Tulsa at age 95.

He was born May 30, 1983, at Lehigh, Kan., to Cornelius and Sara Epp Plett. He was reared and educated at Lehigh.

On March 11, 1917, he was married at Lehigh to Helena E. Pankratz, who survives. They made their home in Lehigh until 1926, when they moved to Inola, Okla. In 1945 they moved to Ramona, Okla. For the past five years they made their home in Collinsville.

Other survivors include three sons, Mitchell of Inola and Vernon and Clifford, both of Collinsville; four daughters, Orletta Ketts of Douglass, Kan., Alverde Dexter of Chelsea, Okla., Betty Fletcher of Meeker, Okla., and Loretta Craighead of Ponca City, Okla.; 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchilren.
