SUSIE Z. HOUSEHOLTER

Susie Z. Householter was born Oct. 2, 1917 at Meade, Kan. to Jacob R. and Susanna (Friesen) Friesen. She died Nov. 2, 1981 after a long illness at her home in Eureka, Ill.

She married Arthur Householter on Feb. 11, 1945 at Meade. She was a cook at Eureka College and a member of the Roanoke Mennonite Church and Eureka Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Geneva, of the home; two sons, Dewayne and Delmar of Eureka; seven brothers, Ben, Jake, Abe, Cornie and Henry Z. Friesen, all of Meade, Pete Z. Friesen of Brussels, Belgium, and Ike Z. Friesen of Edinburg, Tex.; three sisters, Margaret Reimer, Anna Siemens and Elizabeth Penner, all of Meade; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

The funeral was held Nov. 5 at the Roanoke Mennonite Church, with Kenneth Good, Robert Harnish and George L. Classen officiating. Burial was in Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery.
