ANDREW L. HEADINGS

Andrew Lawrence Headings, second child of Ezra and Lydia (King) Headings, was born near West Liberty, Ohio on July 6, 1879 and died Nov. 30, 1959, aged 80 years, four months and 24 days. In his youth he moved with his parents to Garden City, Mo. where he grew to manhood.

In December 1902 he was married to Leona Hooley. To them was born an only child, Anna, Mrs. Percy Conrad. Leona passed away Jan. 22, 1904. In April 1905 he was married to Adella Hooley, who passed away Sept. 5, 1937. On Oct. 1, 1940 he was married to Emma, Mrs. Sam Kauffman. In March he and his family moved to Hubbard, Oregon where he had lived ever since.

In his youth he accepted Christ as His Saviour, and he had been a member of the Zion Mennonite church ever since coming to Oregon.

Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, his daughter and son-in-law, three grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, all in Oregon, also four brothers and two sisters, all in Ohio, and numerous other relatives.

The funeral services was held at the Zion Mennonite church on Dec. 2 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor John M. Lederach officiated. assisted by Bishop C. I. Kropf. The message was taken from Rev. 7:9-10.

Interment was made in Zion cemetery east of the church.
